What is expected of a certified service animal?
Trained service dogs are loving, loyal pets, but they’re also working dogs. If you’re considering a dog for service training, they must be able to remain calm and collected in even the most stressful social situations.
While their are many types of service dogs such as medical service dogs, we currently do not train dogs for medical alert assistance. We offer psychiatric service dog training and mobility support service dog training.

Psychiatric Service Dog Training vs. Mobility Support Service Dog Training
We can teach a service dog to assist with both!
Psychiatric service dog training is geared towards those with PTSD, anxiety, and depression. We can teach your dog ways to help keep you grounded in stressful situations.
Mobility support service dog training for dogs individually trained to do work with wheelchair disabilities and others who have trouble getting around. We make sure your dog provides physical support, pick up dropped items, and open doors.
A mobility support service dog must be 40% of the handler’s height and 50% of their weight.
Steps to Become a Service Dog
- Your dog must demonstrate reliable basic obedience training.
- They must pass a public access test to ensure they remain focused in various situations.
- We will make sure your dog is trained to perform the needed tasks once the public access test is complete.
