Cribs and Canines is an expecting parents training program that works on preparing your dog for the arrival of your new baby. Big Friendly Dog Training provides this unique dog training program to those parents who want to alleviate their pregnancy stress levels by ensuring a future healthy relationship between their dog and the baby.
Who is this program for?
If you’re expecting a new baby in the next few months, or just had one and are concerned about the interaction between Junior and Fido, then we can help!
With the Cribs and Canines training program, we’ll help you set things up in the home where you are in control and your dog will abide by boundaries, including those related to the baby. We work on eliminating general issues your dog might already be exhibiting (ie: poor manners, lack of recall, hyperactivity, any form of aggression, etc.), and start equipping them with the right behaviors for when the baby arrives.
How can this program help?
Cribs and Canines ensures to show your dog how to act appropriately in real-life scenarios including your baby. Along with focus, recall, and impulse control exercises, we simulate situations that are directly related to your baby, such as the dog learning to heel next to a stroller, or going to their place when your baby is picked up to be held.
Our Oklahoma City dog trainer wants your dog and baby protected, and ready to start a happy relationship together. Any issues of potential jealousy over the baby, aggression over or toward the baby, or rambunctious and uncontrollable behavior near the baby will be targeted and eliminated through the Cribs and Canines training program!
